Founded by Frank Lee, Wiltshire Teak is very much a family-owned, family-run business. All of our teak wood is harvested from government-controlled plantations in Asia. Our certification ensures that the wood is obtained legally from a well-managed forest, and that both the wood and the processes used in its harvesting are approved by the relevant government. Our supplier also has its own plantation which will benefit further harvesting of teak trees. In addition, all of our furniture carries the Wiltshire Teak Ltd plaque. It’s our guarantee that the furniture is genuine teak, sourced responsibly from approved, sustainable suppliers. By insisting on responsible sourcing of teak, our company does its part in limiting the environmental damage caused through illegal logging activities.
